Hire Policy

Bookings

  • Secure: Bookings are secured only with full payment of the booking fee and bond.

  • Booking options: You can book online or visit our Chester Hill showroom.

  • Deadline: Bookings can be made up to 6 months in advance.

  • Drop-off: For same-day drop-offs if the return date falls on a Sunday or public holiday, please return during opening hours.

  • Late returns: Your bond will be forfeited for late returns.

  • Unreturned items: Items not returned within 7 days of the due date will be treated as non-returned and the bond will be lost.

Cancellation Policy

  • No refunds: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

  • Store credit: If your event is cancelled, we offer a store credit valid for 6 months, provided you notify us at least 7 days before your event. Cancellations within 7 days forfeit the full amount.

  • COVID-19 Cancellations: In case of COVID-related cancellations or rescheduling, we offer a store credit valid for one year.

Product/Fit

  • Inspection: It's your responsibility to inspect the item before leaving the store. We accept no responsibility for damages after pick-up.

  • Condition: While we maintain our items in good condition, they have been worn by others. They are not brand new.

Dry Cleaning

  • Cleaning: Bridal Favours will dry clean the garment/s after the hire period. Please do not attempt to clean, iron, or alter the item yourself.

  • Health disclaimer: We dry clean and inspect all items with the utmost care. However, use of the garment/s is at your own risk. Bridal Favours shall not be held liable for any health-related complaints associated with the hired garments.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Items

  • Customer responsibility: You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the hired item.

  • Lost/Stolen: In case of loss or theft, Bridal Favours will assess the replacement cost, which can be up to 200% of the recommended retail price, in addition to the rental fee.

  • Damage: We offer free damage insurance for up to $50 for minor repairs. If the repairs exceed $50, you will be responsible for the difference.

Credit Notes

  • Expiration: All credit notes must be used before the expiry date. We do not offer extensions.

  • Details: We will send you an email with the amount, expiry date, and voucher code. We are not responsible for missed expiry dates.

  • Non-refundable: Credit notes are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations with credit notes: Cancellations must be made at least 7 working days before your event. We will only reissue the credit note with the original expiry date. We will not extend the expiry date for cancellations.
